This page sets out a few examples of the support that BFF has been able to provide.
We are often asked by families and organisations what BFF can do to help them. We are keen to place no restrictions on the types of support that we can give as long as it is consistent with the objectives of the charity. These are just examples and we encourage any family seeking help to get in touch.
We are thankful to the families that have given permission to use their stories to help raise awareness.
We are funded by the generosity of our supporters and donors without whom this would not be possible
IPads and seizure monitors
Mobility aids such as buggies and walkers. Specialist equipment, maintenance and servicing including lifts and baths
Project funding for organisations that support families
Improvements to the home that make things a little easier where support cannot be accessed elsewhere
Easy Travel Seat
A needed a solution to help with transitioning from his wheelchair to assist with travel and other family activities.
M’s family desperately needed to replace carpets to aid wheelchair mobility and make cleaning a lot easier
Sleep activity monitors allow parents and caregivers to be alerted in case of seizure activity.
